What this movie does to me cannot be explained. I must have been 7 years old the first time I watched this and cried my heart out when Mufasa died. 12 years later, I still cry when I watch this movie. The story is something that everyone can relate to. Simba is destined to become king one day and just can't wait to rule the throne; everyone can relate to wanting to grow up and become an adult, to do whatever they want and not have to worry about anything. His father tries to teach him that, despite the fact that he will one day be a king, his life will not be easy. Simba has to learn his lesson the hard way when his Uncle Scar kills his father and convinces Simba that it was his fault. Suddenly, growing up doesn't seem so great anymore. Sigh, there is so much more I want to say about this movie but it all comes down to one thing: this movie is a timeless masterpiece. Anyways, spamming with the whole movie was a little too ambitious for me so I just capped my favorite scenes (which turned out to be almost the whole movie anyway). So, on to the NOT DIAL-UP FRIENDLY picspam. :)

Hi, lovelies. It's that time of the year again. Yep, it's Felicity Huffman's birthday and me being the complete creep devoted fan that I am, I made the obligatory Flicka birfday spam post. I tried to change things up a bit, I tried being creatve but I think I failed. I mean, how many Flicka picspams can I possibly make? Clearly, not enough. (I know, another picspam on my livejournal. Go ahead, sue me.) This time, it is solely dedicated to not only Felicity but also to her Transamerica days. This movie is the reason why I love and will always love Felicity Kendall Huffman. Fandoms come and go but she will be my #1 gal forever. This movie did not only make me respect Flicka but it changed my perspective of life for the better. Cheesy as fuck but true. (Ps. Raise your hand if you still hate Reese Witherspoon? I don't even care how immature I sound but that bitch should have knocked on Flicka's door the following day and leave FELCITY'S OSCAR along with a basket of bagels and muffins. Just saying.) Done for the current picspammy challenge: something different. Well, new fandom alert! There was a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show last night and I decided to check it out and see what all the fuzz was about. This movie is so ridiculous that I just freaking love it. I had no idea it would be this much fun. Before going in they gave us bags with rice, a toast, whistles, a little hat, etc. IT WAS INSANELY FUN. Now, I am all over the web reading stuff about this epicness of a film. Anyways, I wanted to picspam "The Time Warp" (my favorite part) BUT Dr. Frank-N-Furter is pretty much the fiercest thing on this world during "Sweet Transvestite".
